We are a completely 100% not-for-profit organisation operated entirely by volunteers.
Every day in almost every country all around the world thousands of innocent dogs are being destroyed just because of how they look. Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) tears apart families and causes the deaths of countless dogs who have never done any wrong. Along with our growing panel of worldwide leading experts and supporters around the world we believe that the responsibility should be placed on the owners and not the dog. Whilst some dogs may have the power and strength to be potentially more dangerous than other dogs, in the overwhelming majority of cases dogs that are often referred to as dangerous carry this 'label' because of the stereotype that is placed upon them thanks to the media, irresponsible owners and of course lack of education.
Our mission is not to wipe out or disregard concern for public safety, but instead to work with our global team of experts and supporters to campaign for changes to the existing legislation and fight for changes in current BSL legislation. That means that all dogs get to live the life that they deserve but under the correct responsible ownership.
As well as campaigning for changes in BSL legislation around the world we also have long-term goals to tackle many other issues that affect the welfare and rights of dogs. These include introducing animal behviour education in schools, abolishing gas chambers, working to abolish dog fighting and impose tougher penalties on those involved and many other dog welfare issues. Whilst doing all of this and campaigning for long-term change we are also actively involved in helping the most needy of dogs all around the world on a daily basis.
All donations are welcome and gratefully received to help us in our valuable work around the world. Without your generous support we are unable to continue our work. To donate you can use the box to the side of every page. Please click the about us page to find out more about our organisation.

Read moreWCC PILOT SCHEME. WCC has decided to expand their role in helping dogs worldwide. Every Sunday an SOSS (Save Our Souls Sunday) post with the link to our official website will be posted on our page. The link is for anyone who would like to donate to our non for profit organisation. (Minimum donation £1 /$1). The reason for this is people have said they would like to donate to help dogs on various pages as they like to feel they are helping in their own way but are unsure as to whom is 100% legitimate. We research organisations, and get personal recommendations from our supporters, but are aware there are some people who aren’t in it for the dogs, but for financial gain (LAG is a good example.) From d...

Read moreJoin us on Wednesday 6th February at 10pm UK Time (5PM EST) for an incredible show with two fantastic guests. Rita & Michael run an organisation campaigning for changes to the laws relating to Greyhound racing. What many see as a great night out at the dogs is in fact a business full of corruption, suffering and cruelty and these truly amazing people are making a huge difference in educating people as to the truth of what goes on. Their tireless campaigning has taken over their lives and we are proud to have them on the show this week. It's going to be an education to all of you - dog lovers out there (and non dog lovers who have every been to or thought about putting a few bucks on the dogs) sh...

Read moreWe were recently made aware of the story of Tidus by our resident dog behaviourist – Peter Singh. For those of you that are not aware, this dog fell victim to what can only be described as mindless torture by what we believe to be a group of teenage criminals in Spain. There will be a link at the bottom of this article to a petition which I will talk more about in the moment but we must warn you that the photographs contained within that link are not for the fainthearted. This story brought all of us to tears. Every day we deal with cases of animal neglect and abuse but this really is one of the most horrific things that we have ever come across. This beautiful dog was stolen ...

Read moreIt was recently brought to our attention that a certain organisation who obviously we cannot name who had set up a website/organisation in the name of helping dogs and "abolishing" BSL laws doesn't appear to have been all that they had cracked up to be and indeed after boasting about significant donations from members of the public this organisation appears to have disappeared off the face of the earth. I do not want to go into details about individuals or specific organisations – there are many legitimate organisations such as ours who have both short-term and long-term goals and who need valuable funding and public assistance in order to continue their vital work. Obviously, we are fully appr...
